Peppermint Cheesecake
Peppermint Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
1 envelope unflavored gelatine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup cold water
1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 (1.45 ounce) milk chocolate candy bars, finely chopped
3 tablespoons margarine, melted
Instructions:
Fill a 9-inch spring form pan with crumbs and margarine. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes. Heat gelatine with the water until melted.
In a bowl, beat the cheese and the sugar. Add the gelatine, the milk and the peppermint candy. Mix well and chill.
In a bowl, put the whipped cream and chocolate and fold. Then pour over the crust. Allow to chill and decorate with whipping cream and peppermint.
