Chilled Raspberry Bavarian Cake
>> Chilled Raspberry Bavarian Cake Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 tablespoons unflavoured gelatine
1 cup raspberries
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
1/4 cup cold water
2 cups milk
2 eggs, separated
3/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions:
For 5 minutes, put the gelatine in water and allow becoming soft. Scald the milk and stir in the gelatine until dissolved. Add hot milk to a mixture of the egg yolks and the sugar.
For about 3 minutes, cook the mixture over boiling water. Allow to chill and when it starts to thicken, add lemon juice and raspberries. Beat the egg whites and the cream and incorporate them in the mixture.
Fill in a spring form pan and set to chill until firm. For the serving, slice it.
