Cinnamon Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) container dairy sour cream
1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 2/3 cups (10 ounce package) Hershey’s Cinnamon Chips
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
4 eggs
Confectioners’ sugar (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. A 12-inch fluted tube pan should be greased and floured. In a mixing bowl, put 3 cups of flour, the baking powder, the granulated sugar and the salt.
In another recipient. Beat the sour cream, the eggs and the vanilla extract until smooth. Then add the butter and 1 cup of sour cream mixture to the flour mixture. Beat well at low speed then at high speed for 1 minute.
Pour in the rest of the sour cream mixture and beat at the medium speed until smooth. Mix the cinnamon chips with the remaining flour until the chips are coated. Stir it into the batter and pour in the pan.
Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes or until cake tester inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow to cool for 20 minutes. Then, decorate with confectioners sugar.
