Funnel Cakes Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1 tablespoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
Confectioners sugar
Oil (for deep fat frying)
Instructions:
Beat the eggs, mix in the milk, the water and the vanilla extract. Put the flour, the baking powder, the sugar and the salt in a bowl and mix into the egg mixture until smooth. Heat the oil.
Use your finger to cover the bottom of the funnel spout. Pour cup of the mixture in it, then release the finger and move it until the batter is released.
For about 2 minutes, fry on both sides/golden brown. Decorate with confectioners sugar.
