Chocolate Chip Beer and Sour Cream Cake
Chocolate Chip Beer and Sour Cream Cake Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups sour cream
3 cups all-purpose flour, unsifted
3 eggs
3/4 cup beer
3/4 cup butter
Combine:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup chocolate chips*
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
4 tablespoons cinnamon
Instructions:
Grease and flour a tube pan. In a mixing bowl. beat the butter and sugar until creamy and add the eggs one by one and continue to blend well. Then, add in the vanilla extract and the sour cream and mix.
Add the flour, the baking soda, the baking powder, the salt and the beer and mix well. In another recipient, put the nuts, the chips, the sugar and the cinnamon and bake at 350 F for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until a thin skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes and the remove the cake from the pan.
*Note: Flour the chips to avoid sticking.
