Nutty Pretzel Bundt Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups very finely crushed pretzels (blenderize)
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup vegetable shortening
1/2 cup milk
2 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons baking powder
6 eggs
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a bundt pan. In a bowl, beat the shortening and the sugar and add the eggs one by one. Mix until smooth.
Pour in the milk and the pretzels, the flour the baking powder and the cinnamon. Beat well. Gradually add the raisins and the chopped nuts.
Mix well and fill the pan with the batter. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a cake tester inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
Ingredients:
Glaze
1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
In a bowl, put the 2 ingredients and beat well. Then decorate on the top of the cake.
