Hazelnut Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 3/4 cups finely ground hazelnuts
1 cup butter
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
5 egg yolks, well beaten
6 egg whites
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 325 F. Grease and flour tube pan/bundt pan. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, the sugar and the egg yolks.
Then, put in the dry ingredients (sifted together), alternately with the sour cream. Add in the nuts and pour in the egg whites (beaten). Fold the mixture and pour in the pan.
Bake for 1 hour or until a cake tester inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
