Apple Blossom Bundt Cake
Apple Blossom Bundt Cake Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups apples, unpeeled and chopped
3 eggs
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 F. Favourably grease a bundt pan with solid vegetable shortening. In a mixing bowl, beat the oil and the sugar until creamy. Then, add in the eggs, beating well after each addition.
In another bowl, sift the dry ingredients and the spices. Add to the mixture together with the vanilla extract, apples and nuts and fold all the ingredients. Pour in the bundt pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Allow to cool for 20 minutes in the pan itself.
Remove the pan. To be served warm or cool and no icing is needed.
